Janet O'Connell, M.A., L.P.C (#12109): Janet received her Masters degree in Counseling from Northern Arizona University in 2001. She is a National Board Certified and Licensed Professional Counselor. Before joining Copper Canyon Academy in 2004, Janet spent two years gaining valuable experience in the area of diagnosis by working intensively in the field of emergency psychiatric care in the Boston area. Janet also worked with dually-diagnosed teenagers in a locked psychiatric unit and with adults in a 28-day inpatient substance abuse program. As part of her internship, Janet provided individual, marriage and group therapy at a fast-paced Community Health Center that provided behavioral and medical health care to low-income members of the community in Flagstaff.
